Ok, so there were some people asking to see this from this last weekend.

We found a FUN way to kick off our 7 week series on Prayer!

Twice as many people praying twice as often!

(Yes the mix is straight off front of house)

Not really sure how this all came about, but the band ended up with Carry on Wayward son melded with Salvation is here.  It was fun, and it got everyone’s attention.

Please join us for the Production Team Orientation meeting!!! This is a chance for the Production Team members to get together.

We need all new and existing Production Team members to be here, you will not want to miss this.

We will be meeting at the Westside Gallery on Thursday 9/10 at 7:30pm till about 8:45 or 9:00pm

-We are going to talk about the upcoming year and how you can be involved
-Vision for the Production Team from your fearless leader
-Dessert (my favorite)
-Prizes
-Some training

If you use the bridge over K7 at 83rd street to come to WFC, please note it will be closed part of next week, Thurs., June 4th at 9am thru Mon., June 8th at 5am for bridge repair, weather permitting. Once you are east of the bridge there is no hindrance to getting onto Woodsonia.  (Please review attached flyer for specifics)

This will also affect Westsiders coming to services at Lenexa on Sat., June 6 and Sun., June 7. There are detour signs posted along K7 and 83rd street.

So, thanks to Kasey (@kaseyrobinson) our Program Director/PCO Guru he lead me onto how to add Production Team Member to a Plan by making them into Teams.

Here is how we do it:

TEAM Breakdown:

Team 1 SATURDAY 1st & 2nd Weekend
Team 2 SATURDAY 3rd & 4th  Weekend
Team 3 SUNDAY 1st & 2nd Weekend
Team 4 SUNDAY 3rd & 4th Weekend
Team 5 SUNDAY PM 1st & 2nd Weekend
Team 6 SUNDAY PM 3rd & 4th Weekend

DATABASE:

Add a property for each team so individuals can be added to a TEAM

Go to the individuals and add the property for the TEAM they are on.

SCHEDULING:

Either in a PLAN or MATRIX mode click on “ADD A PERSON”

Type in the TEAM name ie “TEAM 1″

Click on the “TEAM 1″ link

Up pops a new window for filters and for availability

Click on the bottom right hand corner

“ADD ALL TO PLAN”

Next window lets you shift jobs around or no schedule someone who is conflicted or busy.

You can uncheck them if they have a conflict.

Click “ACCEPT” and they are added to the plan.

Rotations make it a snap.

Now if they would just be automatic!!

Baby Shinault, born April 27th 2009, at 10:44am, 8lb 10oz 19.5 in long. we are still working on the name but should have that shortly to share with you. we are looking froward to seeing you, please be in prayer for Melinda, she has not been allowed to touch the baby because of a rash that she has pray that they are able to determine what the rash is and how to treat it. we’ll keep you posted on how the baby progresses I am attaching a photo of the baby. feel free to pass the news on to those who might want to know.

I don’t know how this happened. But somehow Troy hit his mic stand and made it do a 360. Watch the right side of the screen.

So this last weekend was a great weekend. Troy was speaking on Hurt and “forgiveness by faith brings freedom.”

So I put together a little video, mics going dead, UPS on the Lightboard going dead in the middle of the message, and just some fun stuff we had this weekend. It was a great weekend!!
